Questions that actually come up.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Both the Starter and Professional plans include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required at checkout. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. After 7 days your plan converts to paid and your card is billed on the monthly or annual cadence you selected.
What counts as a request?
Every successful API call (2xx/3xx). Cached responses still count — we disclose cache hits in the `meta` object. Errors (4xx/5xx) do not consume quota.
What happens if I exceed my quota?
We return HTTP 402 with an `upgrade_url` payload. There is no silent overage billing: once the monthly quota is exhausted, protected data routes stop until you upgrade or the quota resets.
Do I need an annual contract?
No. Monthly by default, cancel from your dashboard. Annual pricing is available on the self-serve plans shown here and gives a 15% discount.
Can I use Entylink for KYB / AML decisioning?
Yes, on Professional or higher with the right contractual setup. Entylink is built around UK registry data sourced from Companies House and supports structured verification workflows.
How is freshness measured?
Freshness is oriented around production workflows: new registry changes become queryable through `/v1/company/{n}/filings`, and supported plans can subscribe monitored companies through webhooks.
